The local currency is the dirham (DH or MAD). One Euro buys you approximately 11 dirham's.

Compared to Belgium and France, the shift is + 2 hours in winter and + 1 hour in summer.
Health
No vaccinations are required.It is important to avoid drinking from the local water supply system. Mineral water is available everywhere.
Hygiene and pharmacy
In the desert, a survival kit is mandatory. It must contain the following items:
- Whistle
- Compass
- Pocket knife
- Filled water flask,which you will always carry with you for the case you temporarily
- leave the caravan
- Water disinfectant (like Hydroklonasone or Micropur purchased in a chemist’s shop)
- in case the water reserve carried along is insufficient
- A pocket lamp (not too small) with spare bulb and batteries
- Water vaporizers (like Evian, Vittel)
- Soap Sanihand for waterless hygiene
- High quality, well covering sun glasses
- A lighter, even if you are non-smoker
- Sticking plasters, including special ones for blisters (like Compeed), disinfectant
- Medication for the travel diarrhea
- An ant allergic or antihistaminic
- Pain killers
- Sun cream and cocoa butter.
